BURT First off, we held our third session of swimming lessons registration last Friday, July25, and are again back to normal. We have 108 registered at time of writing. In ball, the Bantam Midgets won a pair of games last week 11-0 over VVellburn and 5-4 over Evelyn. This was a come-from• - behind win. Monday and Tuesday of last week we had a couple of real fun games. Monday it was the Lucan swimming pool staff vs the Lucan ladies team. This was a hilarious ball of fun as well as errorless bail. Did I say error- less! Well almost, anyway. The pool staff eked out a 17-15 win. This was in softball. The gals didn't think it was. The game Thursday was the Lucan old tim- ers vs the Lucan senior softball team. These boys take their ball real serious, or maybe it was the limp, anyway the old timers were a bit out of shape as they went down by the call of 9-1, I think with a couple of practices this score could be changed vile a bit. .e t, pitinter yoit hired re. do tiie livi roont tOit 'he by any chance, honied. ricaaaal" (Color) Tammy and the Millionaire Debbie Watson, Denver Pyle AUGUST 12, 13, 14 (Double Feature) (Color) Yours, Mine and Ours Lucille Ball, Henry FOnda Attack on the Iron Coast Lloyd Bridges, Sue Lloyd AUGUST 15 to 21 (Six Days) (Color) Guess Who's Corning To Dinner Spencer Tracy, Sidney Pokier &Litt MINUTSS FROM at/AND BEND AT SHIPKA Ant CASH BINGO —Legion Hall, Sea 8:15 pm 15 regular games for $10; $25 specialp; $75 Jac4Pot to go.
