IRVIN RADER DASH-WOOD Two weeks of Vacation Bible School at Zion Lutheran Church' under the direction of Rev, E.E, Steinman was brought to a close Friday. The children presented their closing exercises to par- ents and friends and also gave them opportunity to see the things which had been created. There was an average attend- ance of 85 with the theme "Tell the Good News". Mrs. Delmar Miller directed the singing. Teachers and assistants were Darlene Rader, Don Anderson, Mrs. Howard Deters, Mrs. Earl Miller, Marilyn Pfaff, Joanne Hayter, Anne Becker, Marjorie Schenk, Mrs. Wilfred Becker, Mrs, Wilmer Pfaff, Sheila Wil- iert, margaret merrier, Mrs. Al- bert Miller, Mrs, Roy Gibson, Mrs. Delmar Miller, Jim Niel- son and John Hayter. ZION LUTHERAN PICNIC The picnic for Men Liitheran church Was held Sunday, July 21 with approximately 100 in attendance at the hand of Mr. and MrS. V, L. Becket. Races Were conducted by SO- day School teachers, Assistant superintendent and irishibers of the church board. Made winners Were Brenda Miller, Eddie 'Roller, sandra Itraft, Brian Rader, Jayne Hay- ter, Mike teller, Lori Reiter, Tom llayter, Judy Miller, kick Rayter, Darlene Rader, George Keller, Mrs. Bob Boogemans, Bob Boogemans. Kick the slipper, Judy Miller, Rick Hayter; ladies, Doris Webb; three-legged race, Vicki Miller and Carolyn Keller; Sharon Rad- er and Janice Hayter, Rick Hay- ter and Michael Fleet; wheel- barrow race, Martin and Joe Becker. Relays were enjoyed by both children and adults. During the supper Sour several special prizes were awarded— guessing contest, Doris Webb; lucky plate, Elaine Miller; old- est person, Ed Nadiger; young- est, Kathy Ann Keller; most number of bills in their purse, Elgin Rader. The Ladies Aid was in charge of the picnic supper.
