and the groomp sister, Ruth Whit,

They were gowned alike in floor-
length yellow dresses of puete

sleeves and floor-length lace
train. Their headpieces were yel-
low bows of the same material
as their drestet. They wore
sterling silver black pearl neck-
laces, gifts from the bride.
Ronald R. Broderick, Exeter,
was groomsman and Wayne
Redick and Eddie Cunningham
ushered the guests.
A reception was • held at the
Dufferin Hotel, Centralia. The
grOOM's mother received guests
in a two-piece bone suit with
orange accessories and an orange
carnation corsage.
The bride chose a turquoite
blue dress with white accessories
and red rose corsage fora honey-
moon trip to Niagara Falls.

came the bride of Jens Gravlev,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Erik Grav-
lev, Exeter, in St. Matthew's
United Church, Toronto,
Rev. G, Slater performed the
ceremony before a single ar-
rangement of gladioli, mums and
snapdragons.
Escorted by her father, the
bride was lovely in a white linen
silk blend imported Swiss wed-
ding gown styled elong emPire
lines with a slim Aline skirt.
The bodice, gathered under the
bustling with a sash and a large
bow' featured bell sleeves of
Scalloped lace. Her headiatece of
Matching lace held a dPUble,tier-
ed shoulder and elbow-1e4gt h
veil. She carried a cascade of
baby white orchids and atephan,

Bridesmaids were Julie Dot-
sch, sister of the bride, Tor-
onto, and a close friend, Dianna.
MacDonald, also of Toronto. They
were gowned identical to the
matron of honor, who designed
and sewed the bride's gown and
going-away ensemble, the at-
tendants' dresses and the bride's
mother's dress.
Carl Sulliman, Kitchener, was
best man. Ushers were Craig
Pittman and Bill Currie.
For a reception in the Clan
Room at the Tom O'Sha.nter Coun-
try Club, the bride's mother
wore' a dress of bright multi-
colored print with three-quart-
er sleeves and a bow at the
neckline topped with a matching
:sleeveless .coat of rich blue, a
hat of the A4419. .fabric .4§ the
dress .and a white gardenia core
sage.
The groom's mother assisted
in an apple green ,silk linen
jacket dress, 41414Ye. and ..green
flowered - hat, black accessories
and a soft mauve gardenia.

Mary Buxton, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. John H. Buxton, Creditors,
to Gregory James Hodgins, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Clare Hodgins,
London.
The couple were married in
Crediton United Church amid
baskets of white daisies and
yellow snapdra.gons. Traditional
music was supplied by Miss
Elaine Powe.
Given in marriage by her

fath-
er, the bride looked stunning in
her floor-length wedding gown of
white silk linen. The bodice was
highlighted by a bateau neckline,
three-quarter belied Monk
sleeves and a flattering natural
waist. Elegance was portrayed
in the gently controlled A-line
skirt while delicate Swiss Gui-
pure lace accented the neckline,
relatives in the area. Sunday
afternoon a family picnic was
held in their honor on the lawn
at the home of Mrs. Sanders'
mother, Mrs. J. L. Kydd, Exeter
North. Relatives were present
from Mitchell, London, Lambeth,
Zurich, Exeter and vicinity.

GREEN BEAN AND PEANUT
SALAD
1/2 cup wine vinegar
1/4 cup peanut oil
1 tbl dill weed
1 tbl lemon juice
1 tsp pepper
20 ounces (about 4 cups) fresh
green beans, cooked and cooled
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/3 cup chopped dry roasted
peanuts.
Combine first five ingregients,
Toss With green beans and onion.
Cover tightly and marinate over-
night. To terve, add chopped pea-
nUts. Makes 6-8 servings.

trip to Montreal.
The couple will reside in Wind-

and the groom is attending the
Univertity of Windsor.
