Health committee of the Huron-
dale Women's Institute was in
charge of the program for the
July meeting with Mrs. A. Carter
taking the chair.
Roll call on ways to relax and
overcome tension brought many
varied suggestions. The motto
"Laughter is the sunshine of life
and the best of all physicians"
was discussed by Mrsi Haley

Mrs. L. porter traced ?the
history of Sir John A. MacDonald,
Mrs. A. Rundle gave a paper
on health.
President Mrs. Lloyd Ball-
antyne conducted the business
when plans were made to tour
the Ontario Water Resources
Commission plant at Port Blake

blue crimplene dress with white
accessories and a corsage of
white carnations tinted blue. The

a corsage of white carnations
tinted pink.
Following a wedding reception
at the Dufferin Hotel, Centralia,
the couple left for a honeymoon
in Northern Ontario. The bride
changed to a yellow arnel dress
with long sleeves featuring lace
trim, white accessories and a
light green orchid corsage.
Mr. and Mrs. Finkbeiner will
reside in Exeter.

was solemnized in St. Peter's
Lutheran Church, Zurich, re-
cently, when Douglas Edward
Taylor, son of Mrs. Elsie Tay-
lor, London, and Robert Taylor,
Chatham, and Shirley Freda
Weido, daughter of Mrs. Marj-
orie Weido, Zurich, and the late
Earl Weido, exchanged marriage
vows before Rev. A. C. Black-
well.
The bride worefe street-length-

and carried a bouquet of white
mums and red carnations.
Mrs. Joseph Hogan, Exeter,
sister of the bride, was matron
of honor, wearing a blue street-
length dress, white accessories

Rev. T. Elliott officiated. Wed-

length gown of silk organza over
taffeta, fashioned on sheath lines
with a slight .Aline. skirt. The
bodice of the gown had a scoop
neckline and the elbow-length
sleeves and empire waistline,
were outlined with guipure lace,
The cathedral train which fell
from the shoulders was also en-
halMed by guipure lace trim, A
headpiece of silk organza roset-
tes held her four-tier bouffant
veil. She carried a white Bible
adorned with red sweetheart
roses, Stephanotis and white rib-
bon streamers with red sweet-
heart roses attached.
