Mabel Desjardine and mrs, Olive Webb, for the lucky plates; Mrs. Charles Reeves for the smallest waist- line; Mrs, Elgin Webb for the most grandchildren; Mrs. Myrtle McGregor for the lucky age; Mrs. Art Finkbeiner for the long- est name; and Mrs. Allan Park- , er for the door prize. Mrs. Nola Taylor, president conducted the business. Final plans were made for the grad- uation banquet and $15 was voted to be paid for the use of the Church for district annual. Mrs. Susie Devine, Mrs. Olive Baker and Mrs. W. Gill were appointed to look after the ex- hibit for the Exeter Fair. A vote of thanks was given to Mr. & Mrs. Don Hulbert for their part in making the meet- ing an enjoyable one. PERSONALS Mrs. Alma Willis of Toronto is holidaying with friends in Grand Bend. Several from Grand Bend area attended the 50th Anniversary Open House in honour of Mr. & Mrs. Robert MacPherson at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Dougal Gray in Parkhill on Sunday. Mr. & Mrs. Everard Miller and Elsie attended the Sunday morning worship service at Zion United Church when their two grandchildren, Charlotte Anne and Jeffrey Wayne Miller were baptized. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Benedict and children of London visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Mur- ray Venner and boys. Mr. & Mrs. Wellwood G i 11 visited on Sunday with Newman Sharon who has been ill at his home in Parkhill. A very successful strawberry and ham supper was held in the United Church shed last Friday evening when well over 500 people were fed. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Romphf and family of Ingersoll spent the weekend with Mrs. Lonzo Romphf and Terry. Several families from here attended Decoration Service at Salem Cemetery on Sunday. Rev.
