ist on Saturday, May 18, Mrs.;

on Saturday, May 18 at 5 pm
when Miss Lynda Lorraine Web-
ber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Orville Webber, Varna, and Cecil
Dykstra, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas Dykstra, Poplar Hill,
were united in marriage with Rev.
D. C. Echardt officiating.

urday, May 18 at 2:30 p.m.
Coral gladioli, white daisies
and candles formed the decor
for the ceremony performed by
Rev. Harmon Heeg in Bethel.
Reformed church, Exeter. Mrs.
Gary Van Steeg, Hensall, played
the wedding music.
Given in marriage by her father
the bride wore a floor-length
white peen de sole and lace
gown with elbow-length sleeves,
low neckline and low pointed
waistline. The straight skirt was
accented with gathers at the back.
Two roses held her bouffant veil
and she carried coral roses,
white daisies with coral stream-
ers.
Maid of honor was Miss Jo-
Anne Dieleman, Whitby, wearing
coral satin-back crepe with high
waistline, bell sleeves and A-
line skirt. She carried white
daisies and baby's br eat h.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Herman
Snyder, Whitby and Mrs. Martin
Dieleman, Poplar Hill. They were
gowned similarly to the maid of
honor. Flower girl, Marian
Sneider, wore a floor-length gown
of coral crepe and carried white
daisies and baby's breath.
Simon Nagel, Holland, Mich.,
was best man and groomsmen
were Martin and Gerrit Wilts
and ushering guests were Joe
Dieleman and Henry Wilts.
The couple will live at Har-
riston for the summer where the
groom is serving the First Re-
formed Church as student pastor.
He is a graduate of Hope Col-
lege, Holland, Michigan and is a
student at Western Theological
Seminary, Holland, Michigan, re-
suming his studies inSeptember.

lagoda highlighted by a scoop
neckline, elbow-length sleeves,
empire waistline and gently con-
trolled A-line skirt. A detach-
able chapel train cascaded from
two tiny bows at the back waist.
Guipure lace formed a panel
down the front of the dress and
also trimmed the sleeves. A
floral headpiece of organza
petals strewn with sparkling
crystals held her finger-tip veil

and Mrs. K. H. Hodgins, Cen-
tralia, played the wedding music.
Given in marriage by her fath-
er the bride wore a formal gown
of white peau de sole accented
with a cathedral train. Her bouf-
fant veil of nylon illusion was in
waist-length and she carried
white and orange roses,
Miss Renny Plantinga was maid
of honor for her' sister wearing
a floor-length orange peau de
sole dress with matching ac-
cesseries. She carried white
carnations and ,orange roses.
Misses Tina VanderIaan, Ex-
eter, and Beverley Parker, sister
of the groom, were bridesmaids
and were dressed similarly to the
maid of honor.
Peter M3Falls, Exeter, was
best man and Peter Plantinga and
Dave Parker ushered guests.
The reception was held in the
church rooms where the bride's
mother received guests in a dress
of aqua bonded crepe with lace
overcoat and flowered hat and
corsage of white roses. The
groom's mother assisted wearing
an ensemble of light green crepe
with matching hat and white rose
corsage.
For a honeymoon in Niagara
Falls and Manitoulin Island the
bride travelled in a pink suit
with navy and white accessories
and orchid corsage.
The couple will reside at 429
