1 p.m. (four hours) on Fridays
and Saturdays from May 10 to
June 15.
From June 17 to Labour Day
the dump will be open from
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (four hours),
six days per week. Closed Sun-
days.

The WMS meeting was held
at the home of Mrs. William
Harper when twelve members
answered the roll call. Miss
Olive Speare presided.
,,The Mission Study, The
Christian Faith and other Re-
ligions," was conducted by Mrs.
M. Lamond, with Mrs. Verna
Brooks, Mrs. Grace Scott and
Miss Speare assisting.
The business period was con-
ducted by Mrs. Lamond. Invi-
tations to Cromarty members
to attend as guests, meetings
at Staffa, Atwood and Avonton
were accepted, also to join Roys
UCW ladies on a bus trip to
Toronto. Mrs. E. Moore pre-
sented a timely topic on “Faith”.
A letter from Miss Agnes Hyslop,
Missionary in India, was read
by Mrs. J. R. Jefferson.
Mrs. T. L. Scott gave a de-
tailed report of the Presbyterian
Synodical which she attended at
Chatham. Lunch was served by
the hostess assisted by Mrs.
C. McKaig and Mrs. T. L. Scott.

The May meeting of the United
Church Women was held Thursday
with Mrs. William Rowcliffe and
Mrs. Wilfred Hunkin as hos-
tesses. Mrs. Jack Duncan, pro-
gram D convener, was in charge
of the meeting of which the theme
was "Gratitude For Family
Life". Mrs. Donald Bray read
the Scripture lesson followed with
prayer by Mrs. Glen Stewart.
The topic was given by Mrs.
Edwin Miller and Mrs. Arnold
Cann. A skit, "And He Clothed
Me" was given by Mrs. Lloyd
Hackney, Mrs. Donald Bray, Mrs.
William Snow, Mrs„,Glen Stew-
art and Mrs. Jack Stewart fol-
lowed by a poem by Mrs. Jack
Duncan. Mrs. Stewart Miner con-
ducted Bible Study.
Mrs. Rohde, president, took
charge of the meeting. It was
decided to have a Strawberry
Supper in June. It was also voted
to try to get rid of the old choir
gowns.
MARKS 80 YEARS
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ethering-
