was held at Central School, Sat-
urday evening with 18 tables in
play.
Ladies' high score was won by
Mrs. Jack Thomson; ladies' lone,
Miss Isobel Diinnell; ladies' low,
Jack Youngson; gent's high, Har-
old O'Brien; gent's lone, Lloyd
Cowdrey; gent's low, Andrew
Knox.
A presentation for Winston Rea
and his bride-to-be took place.
Address was read by Donald
Carter and Garnet Baker and
Carl and Edwin Jones presented
them with two step up tables and
a coffee table toqnatch. Winston
thanked all. Lunch was served
and a social time spent.
Mr. and Mrs. Gladwyn Hoop-
er and Mrs. L. Doyle were re-
sponsible for the euchre and
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jones and
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Dunnell
were in charge of the presenta-
tion.

While Saturday was the official opening of the trout season locally
somebody forgot to tell the fish as they failed to give much co-
operation. At Morrison Dam over the weekend veryfew good catches
were reported. The honor of catching the smallest fish probably
goes to Neil Wright, who is shown above with his "whopper".
