Monday was a busy day for Brownie officials in Exeter as they en-
rolled several Tweenies into the group and handed out gold bars and

elected president of Hurondale
WI at the annual meeting held last
Wednesday evening following a
pot luck supper in caven Church.

committee, Mrs. William Lamp-

Annual reports were given.
Mrs. Ballantyne reported on the
Leadership Forum in Mitchell
which she attended and reports
were also given on the Freezer
food forum April 17 which sev-
eral attended and 4-H Achieve-
ment Day at SHDHS.
A donation of five dollars was
voted toward Exeter Fair and a
committee of Mrs. Bev Alexander
and Mrs. Arnold Cann was named
to be in charge of the WI display
at the Fair. Mrs. William
Lamport was appointed delegate
to the Officers' Conference,
Guelph, and delegates to Dis-
trict Annual are Mrs. Ballan-
tyne, Mrs. Mac Hodgert, Mrs.
Lee Webber, Mrs. Roylance
Westcott and Mrs. Lena Kirk-
land.
It was decided to take a morn-
bership in Huronview Ladies
Auxiliary which meets the third
Monday of the month at 2:30 pm.
Mrs. Etherington, public re-
lations officer, will arrange for
someone to attend the meetings.
The members also voted to co-
operate in taking their turn in
serving cookies and tea at Huron
County Museum, Goderich. Pen
pals will again be named for the
year.
Mrs. Ballantyne and Mrs. Alvin
Moir showed pictures of local
interest.
Hostesses were Mrs. Harry
Snell, Mrs. William Lamport,
Mrs. Ray Cann, Mrs. Bev Mor-
gan, Mrs. William Etherington,
Mrs. William Kernick and Mrs.
Ross Oke.
