Dave Kyle has taken over the Shell Gas Station on Highway 4, Hensall, and opened for business Wed. May 1. Hensall Kinette Club are hav- ing their annual Spring Rummage sale this Saturday, May 4 at 2 pm at the local arena. A turkey and ham smorgasbord will be held Saturday, May 4 at St. Paul's Anglican Church from 5 to 7 pm. About thirty friends and rela- tives of Miss Ruth Gibson, Lon- don, a former resident of Shipka attended a shower in her honor last Saturday night. Games and contests were played. Many use- ful and beautiful, gifts were opened and Ruth thanked each and every one. Guests were present from Lon- don, Crediton, Sylvan and Dash- wood. Everyone enjoyed lunch and wished her well in her new home in London. She's to be married May 25 to Mr. Wayne Humphries, London.
