ing to the records of Sid Suther-
land, and soft drink refresh-
ments.
Last Saturday's weather was
even worse, so only nine mem-
bers made it to London to par-
ticipate in the county bowling
tournament at Fleetway 40. The

ports their bowling Saturday night
was as bad as the weather.
Excess snow was removed
from the business block Thurs-
day greatly improving walking
and driving.

MR. GORDON FROATS
New Cubmaster
commences duty
Mr. Gordon Froa.ts, who suc-
ceeds Mrs. Laura Morgan as
Lucan Cubmaster, had his first
meeting Wednesday evening, with
an attendance of 24. Before the
opening hour of 7 pm, over a dozen
boys were running up and down
the streets eager to meet their
new cubmaster and to begin cub
meetings once more.
Most of the first meeting was
taken up with cleaning the hall,
registration and dividing the boys
into four groups of six each.
Being a working man, Mr.
Froats feels it will be impos-
sible for him to begin meetings
at '7 pm, so future meetings will
run from 7:30 to 8:30 pm.
With such a large group of
boys, Mr. Froats hopes some-
body will offer to come to his
assistance.
