JONES JARS G & G
A hat trick performance is a
pretty good effort in any hockey
game but Bob Jones wasn't sat-
isfied with this in the 15-6 Bank
Boys romp over Graham and
Graham.
Jones, who scored four times
for his club a week earlier,
came back with six goals to
lead his club's onslaught. Frank
Boyle was next in line in the
scoring department with a trio
of goals while Lloyd Moore and
Bill Heywood scored twice and
Chuck Becker and Grant Vol-
land added singles.
the arena proper,
Total estimated cost of the
project will be close to $80,000.
Of this amount the village of
Zurich is issuing debentures for
$50,000 while the balance will
be made up from grants, don-
ations and public subscriptions.
Chairman of the building corn-
mittee has been Leroy Thiel,
reeve of the village, while other
members were Dr. W. B. Coxon,
Ray McKinnon, Doug O'Brien and
Herb Turkheim.
Another five-man committee
composed of McKinnon, Turk-
heim, Hubert Schilbe, Stewart
Dietz and Gordon Bloch is in
charge of arena operations while
John Turkheim is arena manager.
