address was given by Peter Zan-

Dow, daughter of Mr. & Mrs.

The Messengers held their an-
nual Hallowe'en concert Friday
evening in the church basement.
The evening opened with aparade
of all in costume. Mrs. Don At-
kinson and Mrs. Clarence Mills
acted as judges and picked the
following winners:
Pre-School and Kindergarten,
Best Hallowe'en costume, Chris-
tine Tomlinson and Michael
Brine; best comic, Bobby Cow-
drey and Suzanne Jaques; best
home - made costume, Janet
Parkinson and Cheryl Brine.

Zion Lutheran Church attended
a rally at Stratford Avon Theatre
celebrating the 450th anniver-
sary of the Reformation. Sun-
day School children took part
in a mass choir as well as
adults in another mass choir.

attended Expo last week.

Mr. Hilton Ford who was eighty
November 1 was guest of honor
at a family gathering Sunday.
Thirty members of his family
were present from Bolton,
Thorndale, Jarvis, Exeter, Zur-
ich and Dashwood. He was pre-
sented a mandolin with which he
was delighted.
Sharing the honors with him
was a granddaughter, 13-year-
old Sherry Ford of Bolton who
celebrates her birthday the same
day as "Grampa".
