The flowers at the Exeter Fair were given special attention this year and set on tiers in the corner of
the arena for better display. Everyone seemed to agree It was a good idea. Betty Northcott, director of
the flower display, is shown here with the many beautiful blooms. T-A photo

If people didn't get old, the
Exeter Fall Fair would turn out
to be a gigantic exhibition,
Once again, area school child-
ren flooded the various sections
of the school fair and there were
in the neighborhood of 1,000 en-
tries for the various judges to
view.
The books turned in show there
were 80 competitors alone in the
contest for making animals out
of vegetables, In many other
classes the entries ranged in the
20 to 30 bracket.
Following is the complete list,
and we apologize now for any
spelling mistakes, but a couple of
the judges' books got wet at the
fair and the writing was difficult
to figure out.
The following legend has been
used: E - Exeter public School;

en Central; GB - Grand Bend;
