Three pupils were promoted from the primary to the Beginner Class. They were Mark Schwartz, Steven Finkbeiner and Terry Lynn Witherspoon. Saturday afternoon's get- acquainted festival of the Ilderton Co-Operative, new managers of Crediton Farmer's Supply, pro- vided good music (the New Dundee band), worthwhile prizes and an appetizing meal of wieners and beans. Honor bride at Brinsley By GORDON MORLEY BRINSLEY A shower was held at Brinsley United Church Friday in honor of Miss Alma Lee, bride-elect of September 30. Mrs. Jack Hodgson presided over a short program including an accordian selection, a piano and guitar duet by Judy and Lynda Robinson, readings by Linda Morley. Kathy Hodgson and Carol Robinson played wedding music and Mrs. Donald McAlpine read an address and Alma was pre- sented with a shower of gifts. Misses Marion Lee, Betty Amos and Lois Sutherland as- sisted in opening the gifts. Alma thanked all for the gifts. Lunch was served and a social half hour spent.
