Mrs. Roy Pepper of Huron Street, Exeter, who has a large variety of flowers in her spacious garden says she is keeping her fingers crossed that the weather will warm up again until after the local fair. "Growing flowers is a very unpredictable venture and the frost on Monday night came pretty close to doing damage to my flowers", added Mrs. Pepper. The local horticulturist will be showing zinnias, snapdragons, dahlias and asters at next week's fair along with floral table set- tings. Mrs. Pepper will also be a competitor with vegetables and home baking.
