To be displayed at fair — T-A photo
This steam engine, built in Seaforth in the mid 1920s, will be on display at the Exeter Fall Fair. It will
be operating and fair officials hope to have a threshing machine running off it. That's Garnet Hicks at
the controls, and he dated himself, by reporting he can remember when Usborne neighbors had contests
during the threshing season to see who could blow their steam engine whistle the loudest and the longest.
