The duties of a fore caddie ore to stand in protected
areas throughout the course, helping the golfers
locate their golf balls.
The course will be closed to the public on Saturday,
Sept. 23 to accommodate the Bell Telephone Tourney
(London District),

spector, which is to be issued
only after the approval of the
Medical Officer of Health has
been obtained.
6. Any person who violates
any of the provisions of this
by-law shall be guilty of an
offence and liable on conviction
thereof to a penalty not exceed-
ing $300.00 exclusive of costs,
and such penalty and costs
shall be recoverable under the
provisions of The Ontario Sum-

It is the intention of the
Council, of the Town of
Exeter to pass the following
By-law, either in its entire-
ty or with slight amend-
ments. Written comments
are requested.
1. IN THIS BY-LAW:
(a) "Animal" _shall mean any
variety of domestic, wild or
tame animal, but shall not in-
clude any domestic fowl or
bird or any rabbit, guinea pig
or white rat.
(b) "Pets" shall mean dogs,
cats or other small animals
when kept solely as pets on the
premises actually occupied as
a residence by their owner and
not kept or raised for profit,
but shall not include any horse,
colt, cattle, mule, donkey, goat,
sheep or swine.
2. No person shall keep any
animal, except horses, mules
and pets in, on, or upon any
land or premises within the
Town of Exeter provided, how-
ever, that this section shall not
apply to lands assessed and
used as farm lands, but said
farm lands shall not be used
for the purpose of carrying on
a commercial piggery business.
3. No person shall keep any
horse or mule within the Town
of Exeter unless it is properly
housed in suitable stables as
hereinafter provided.
4. No person shall keep any
horse or mule in, or upon any
lands or premises within the
Town of Exeter Which are lo-
cated within an area restricted
to residential uses under the
provisions of any by-law now
or hereafter in force.
5. No building or part of a
building used or intended to be
used as a stable or barn shall
be deemed to be suitable un-
less -
(a) the same is distant at
least three hundred feet (300')
