between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. There will be coffee and donuts
served all day, baked beans and wieners for lunch. Everything
will be inside.

There were 13 tables in play,
at the euchre at the Community
Center,
prizes for ladies' high went to.
Mrs. Lorne Devine; ladies' low,
Mrs, Karl Guenther; men's high,
Jim Hayter; men's low, George
Clarke; most lone hands, Jim
Hayter.
Lunch was served by the com-
mittee in charge. Another party
is planned for April 12.
Free coffee and donuts will be
served throughout the openhouse
time from 10:00 am to 5;00 pm
and those who wish to show up
for lunch will receive baked beans
and weiners.
While the event is being staged
primarily to show farmers the
service aspects of the business,
the occasion is also the second
anniversary Of North Middlesex
Fertilizers Ltd.
The 210' by 160' plant, which
now has three flags flying from
its roof, was completed in March
1964.
This is the year for centennial
projects and one area company
has followed the example of seV-
eral citizens.
North Middlesex Fertilizers
Ltd. are planning an open house
for Wednesday, April 5, at which
time they will unveil some of the
new equipment which has been
added to provide improved ser-
vice for customers.
The Ailsa Craig firm, which
was formerly known as Scotch
Fertilizer Ltd., is now owned
by Cyanamid of Canada and of-
fers a complete service for farm-
ers for fertilizer, seed and in-
secticides and pesticides.
It is one of several Cyanamid
of Canada bulk blending plants
distributing Aero fertilizers.

plant is Victor Knip, who joined
the firm in 1964 after operating
his own custom and seed business
two and a half miles south of
Exeter.

The equipment added this year
enables the firm to blend analy-
sis to a farmer's specification
or to any common fertilizer
analysis.

After five weeks of beautiful
Florida weather Mr. & Mrs. John
Park returned home Friday.
While there they visited the fol-
lowing relatives: Dr. & Mrs. Jack
Dewey of Palm Beach, Mrs. Rus-
sell Williams of Fort Myers
and Mr. Revington Stanley of
West Palm Beach. They also ar-
ranged to meet their son Jack
and family, who are also holiday-
ing in Florida.
Mr. & Mrs. Aljoe Culbert,
Ann and Doris, were holiday
guests of Mr. & Mrs. Norman
Hankala of Westland, Mich. The
girls remained over for their
Easter vacation.
Mrs. Laura Morgan is holiday-
ing with her sister, Mrs. Mar-
garet Scheitler of Flint for a
couple weeks. She took her small
grandson, Michael Foote, with
her. Mrs. Foote spent the holi-
day weekend with Mr. & Mrs.
Edgar Sadler of Avon.
Although spring had much dif-
ficulty finding "the corner", not
so the flies. Millions of them
are back, with their children
and grandchildren, driving resid-
ents nearly crazy, vacuuming,
spraying and swatting.
The Lucan-Clandeboye CGTT
contributed $9.15 to the Bunny
Bundle.
Mr. & Mrs. Keith O'Neil of
London, will long remember 196'7
Good Friday, for on that day at
St. Joseph's Hospital their son,
Bradley Keith was born. Mr.
O'Neil was a former Lucan
School teacher and is now teach-
ing Grade '7 and 8 at the Lord
Nelson school, London.
Mr. & Mrs. Frank Egan and
family of Dunnville were holiday
guests of Mr, & Mrs. Cliff Cul-
bert and Mrs. Kay Egan. Mrs.
Dave Egan of London was also a
Sunday guest of the latter.
Mr. & Mrs. Bob Robinson,
Marie and Marion, of London,
and Mr. & Mrs. Tom Triebner
of Exeter, were Sunday guests of
Mr. & Mrs. Evan Hodgins.
Mr. & Mrs. Frank Aylestock
and Ronnie, and Mrs. EmmaSaw-
yer of Montreal spent the holiday
weekend with Mr. & Mrs. Wm.
Aylestock and on Saturday all
visited their son, Donald in Lon-
don.
A number of Lucanites attend-
ed the Bunny Bundle Euchre at
Woodham Thursday, where Mrs.
Rose Atkinson won the high score
prize and Mrs. George Miller
the lucky card prize.
Miss Holly Martin of London
was a holiday weekend guest with
her sister, Mrs. T. A. Hodgins
of Market St.
Easter guests with Mr. & Mrs.
Ralph Rummell included Dr. &
Mrs. S. J. Morrison and family
of Detroit, Mr. & Mrs. Jim Rum-
mell and family of Thamesford
and Mr. & Mrs. Carl Rummell
and family of London.
Mr. & Mrs. Jim Davis and
