First and foremost I would
like to remind all public skat-
ers that there will NOT be any
public skating Sat. Feb. 4, be-
cause of the bantam hockey
tournament which runs from 8
am till 10 pm. Of course you can
all come to the tournament if
you wish. For a small admis-
sion fee you can see a lot of
hockey and I might add a lot of
very fine young hockey players.
The south Middlesex hockey
league is pretty tight at the
present time except for the Lu-
canite team which is marred in
the cellar with 15 points (I al-
ways maintain that you must
practice if you want to be a good
player.) The rest of the league
is separated by seven points,
Craig has 30, followed by Ilder-
ton with 26 concrete and Lee and
Stewart with 24, and in fifth plac.p
it's Edgewood with 23,
This Friday Feb. 3, it's the
three Lucan teams, Pee wee,
bantam and midget hosting the
Dorchester teams in the first
round of OMHA playoffs. The
first game starts at 7 pm.
I had a very pleasant sur-
prise Sunday as a couple of the
ladies of the community were in

been here at the centre (three
years). I hope they are walking
with no ill effects.
