of our dear mother, Isabella
Edwards, who passed away
eight years ago, January 11,
1959.
There are lots of mothers in
this world we know
But she was ours and we loved
her so;
If she could have spoken before
she died
These are the words she would
have replied;
'Weep not for me nor sorrow take
But love one another for my sake.'
— Always remembered by her
family. 12*
JOHNS — In loving memory of a
dear mother and grandmother,
Pearl Johns who passed away
one year ago, January 14.
You bade no one a last farewell,
Nor even said goodbye;
You were gone before we knew
it,
And only God knows why.
— Ever remembered by Philip,
Marjorie, Bessie, Vince and
families. 12*
HEDDEN In loving memory of
Mrs. Catherine Hedden who
passed away five years ago,
January 14, 1962.
Resting where no shadows fall,
In perfect peace she waits us all,
Where God will link the broken
chain,
As one by one we meet again.
-- Always remembered by her
family. 12c
MORLEY — In loving memory of
a dear father, Walter Morley,
who passed away January 9,

To the task God set for you,

So called you home, our dearest
one.

Well here we are in the cen-
tennial year 1967. I hope that you
all had a very good Christmas
and New Year as I did. We are
back to normal again here at the
centre with our regular Sat. night
dances once again in operation.
We had a small crowd last Sat-
urday night, I suppose this was
because most people were still
recuperating from New Years.
In the south Middlesex hockey
League Craig are still in first
place followed by Concrete pipe,
Ilderton, Lee & Stewart, Lucan,
and Edgewood. Last Thursday
night, January 5 it was Craig
over Lucan 7-3; Ilderton took
Lee and Stewart 10-0 and Edge-
wood and concrete pipe battled
to a 3 all tie with Edgewood
getting the equalizer with 27
seconds showing on the clock.
In minor hockey last Friday,
January 6, it was Dorchester
v/s Lucan; In pee wee it was
Dorchester Pee Wee's 10, Lucan
Squirts 2. P.S. The Lucan pee
wee's were at Watford in the
silver stick tournament. By the
way they lost to Milverton by a
score of 10-1.
