score at 2-2.
Gary parsons put the Hawks
in front for the first time at
the eight minute mark of the
third, finishing off a play start-

the Port Huron club only 25

SCORE AT WILL
On home ice, Friday, the Hawks
showed little mercy for the last
place petrolia club as they scor-
ed early and often in hanging
up the 17-3 verdict.
Gary Parsons led the local
rampage scoring five times to
up his season total to 22.
Paul Young was close behind
with four scores to his credit
and Mike Cushman chipped in
with a hat trick performance.
LOTS OF PENALTIES
The busiest fellows at the arena
during the Hawks 13-3 win over
Blenheim were the penalty time
keepers. During 60 minutes of
play they had 48 visitors for a
total serving time of 163 min-
utes, including several miscon-
ducts to each club.
In the scoring department, the
Hawks were again led by the
three-goal performance of Gary
Parsons.
Bill Chipchase, Craig Chap-
man and Larry Willert each con-
tributed a pair of markers to the
winning cause. Adding singletons
were Dennis Morrissey, Bob
Moir and Ron Broderick.

at the local Legion hall, last week. Front, from left, Albert Ostland,

Recent floods have seriously
eroded the road in front of the
Oscar Crawford house on the
curve and reached former flood
peaks. Much data was on hand
for some means of flood control
i.e. the proposed Parkhill dam,
streams below on mud creek, ap-
parently the "elbow", See Bee
