CENTENNIAL SCHOOL NEAR COMPLETION Huron Centennial School which will serve the Townships of Stanley and Tuckersmith and the villages of Bayfield and Egmondville now nears completion. Due to, slow delivery of steel and glass as well as roofing delays it has not been possible to set an exact opening date. However, the board chairman Vern Alderdice, Kippen and the principal Arnold Mothers agree that all classes will be moved into the new school before Easter. Kindergarten classes will begin after the Easter Holidays. The new school boosts 16 regular classrooms, a special class, two kindergartens, a library and a spacious auditorium. The azalea likes a bright window with a temperature of 55 to 60 degrees F. It is gener- ally grown in an acid medium (peat) and should be well watered every day. Never let the soil dry out. Once a week the plants should be plunged in water for about half an hour to give them a thorough watering. Many gardeners will want to keep this handsome plant for another year. When it has fin- ally finished flowering it should be repotted in an acid medium villintg#seoRiitiqtvwtt such as peat mixed with a little soil, but no alkaline sand. Any new growth that appears to be uneven or straggly may be pin- ched back prior to June 15. After the danger of frost is past, the plant may be plunged ()Aside in acid soil and kept In partial shade during the summer. It should be fed approximately every two weeks with one ounce of ammonium sulfate and one ounce of iron sulfate to three gallons of water.
