Ray Mills SS Superintendent was MC for the program which consisted of mus- ical numbers, skits, readings, dialogues and a Mr. & Mrs. program. At the close the SS classes exchanged gifts. Mrs. M ill e r presided and opened with a meditation. Scrip- ture passages were read by Mrs. Harold Parsons. Several verses of a carol were sung, inter- spersed with meditations by Mrs. Miller, who also led in prayer. Mrs. John Templeman gave a reading, stressing all should write "Christmas" instead of "Xmas." Misses BrendaKer- slake and Joanne Templeman sang duet, "Star of the East." Mrs. Calder McKaig gave a read- & Mrs. LaVerne Rodd and fam- ily and attended the CGIT vesper service Sunday evening in the church. WHITE GIFT SERVICE Cromarty Congretation and Sunday School observed White Gift service Sunday afternoon. The auditorium was tastefully decorated with evergreens and candles and a lighted Christmas tree. The junior choir led else singing and snag as a spiecial number "The Birthday of a King" under the leadership of. Miss Carol Ann Dow. Rev. J. C. Boyne's message was very much impressive and helpful. SR CITIZENS VIEW PICS The Senior Citizens's Club met in Staffa Hall with a good attend- ance of members and a number bined service at the church hour. Sunday School Superintendent Don Brine had charge assisted by Rev. John King. The scripture lesson was read by Debra Jaques and Janet Tom- linson. Mrs. James Miller told the story of the "Black Ma- donna". The children entered church in classes with their teachers and deposited their gifts at the t r e e. The gifts were de- livered by Mr. & Mrs. Don Brine to the Saugeen Indian Reserve at Southampton. TAYLOR'S of invited guests present. A pot luck dinner was served at the noon hour which w a s much enjoyed by all. Happy Birthday was sung for Mr. Thomas Laing and Miss Olive Speare in honor of their December birthdays. With the president, Mr. Darrell Parker in the chair a varied pro- gram followed. Readings were given by Miss Olive Speare, Mrs. Gerald Carey, Mr. Fred Harburn and Mrs. McCaughey provided music for step-dancing by Mrs. Bruce Armstrong and Mrs. Gary Quance. A short address w a s given by Rev. J. E. Boyne and Rev. Bert Daynard brought Christmas greetings. Mr. & Mrs. Daynard showed slides of their trip through sev- eral American States.
