IN MEMORIAM —
BROWN - In loving memory of
a dear sister, Irene Brown who
passed away one year ago,
Dec. 10, 1965.
Precious memories treasured
ever,
Of days when we were all together
No longer here our lives to share
But in our hearts she is always
there.
-- Lovingly remembered by her
sister Vera and brother Edgar.

BROWNLEE - In loving memory
of a dear wife and mother,
Effie Winnifred Brownlee, who
passed away two years ago,
Dec. 4, 1964.
Remembrance is a golden chain,
That tries to break, but all in
vain,
To have, to love and then to part
Is the greatest sorrow of one's
heart.

as pleasant to live in as Grand
Bend.
Be called on members of the
mass media to show some con-
cern for their fellow man in
their apparent anxiety to create
sensational news.
"I think we can refute the bad
publicity and show people that
Grand Bend is a nice place to
visit and live in," he said.
During the course of his blis-
tering remarks on the press,
Mr. Dalton said he was exempt-
ing the "local press".
Another man who received
some applause at the meeting
was OPP Inspector A, E. Ayers.
He had been on hand to witness
the presentation of an award
of merit to a courageous mem-
ber of the police detachment
last summer, Terry Boylan.
Called on for a few words,
Inspector Ayers said he was
"proud of the job our men did
here last summer". He also
said he was pleased to see the
"other side" of Grand Bend.
Inspector Ayers had been on
hand during last summer's up-
risings to direct the police.
Last week, members of Grand
Bend council were critical of
the police work last summer.
In taking office, Mr. Dalton
also paid tribute to retiring pres-
