Motorcycle plates will be available by December 19. The plates and permits will be on sale at all licence issuing offices throughout the province. Local men tour Europe Larry and Ted Snider, accom- panied by another 127 tractor dealers of the Ford Motor Com- pany left Thursday for a 10-day tour of tractor plants and a major agricultural show in Europe. "The dealers, who come from all over Canada, were selected for the trip because of their out- standing sales performance, said Ralph E. Cudmore, General Man- ager Tractor & Equipment Divi- sion. Highlight of the tour, which will cover France, Belgium and Eng- land, will be the Smithfield Show in London, considered the world's leading agricultural exhibition. Billing had been done on the basis of $4.69 gross for a 10- week period, but the water supply had not been disconnected for several weeks after the end of the season. "For their own peace of mind, we hope more motorists will get their plates early and avoid last minute line-ups." MacLaren of Benmiller to look after the official opening in June of the county museum's archives room was organized recently by the Huron County His- torical Society. Also named to the committee was society president, Mrs. W, D. Mack of Creditors, Mrs. Ben Homan of Goderich, and Mrs, Tait Clark of RR 6, Goderich, Space for the room which will house archives and other arti- facts relating to the county's history has been donated by county council. The 170-member society has spent about $1,000 to furnish and equip the room.
