A fine progra.m of Christmas
numbers was presented at the
meeting of the Senior Citizens
Club in the Legion -11511 Tuesday
evening with Mr. Walter Cutbush
as chairman,
Mrs. Arthur Rundle gave a talk
on old-tine customs at the
Christmas season and concluded
With an appropriate poem.
Solos were contributed by Mrs.
George Sereda with Mrs. Jack
Coates at the piano, by Lenore
Coates and by Mrs. George
'Wiese; duets by Mrs. Lyle Little
and Mrs. Jack Coates; Mrs. A. G.
Chalmers and Mrs. MervynCud-
more accompanied by Mrs, And-
rew Dougall; Kenneth and Grant
Jones with guitar and accordion
accompaniment.
A quartet of four grandfathers
whose combined age is 280 years
— Alfred Wuerth, Ed Lindenfield,
Walter Cutbush and MervynCud-
more — sang Christmas selec-
tions with Mrs. Dougall at the
piano.
Johnny Wurm played piano se-
lections; Kenneth Coates sang
solos accompanied by his moth-
er Mrs, Jack Coates and Mrs.
George Tucker conducted a girls'
choir of 20 voices from Mt. Car-
mel and St. Peter's churches
with Mrs. J. T. McCauley at the
piano.
In the absence of President
Mrs. Warren Brock, Cecil Skin-
ner called for a moment's silence
for those members who had pass-
ed on.
Members of Beta Sigma Phi
Sorority served lunch.
The committee for the January
program includes Mr. and Mrs.
Eli Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Triebner, Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Ferguson and Mr. and Mrs. Nel-
son Squire.

March of Dimes workshops
throughout Ontario urgently need
old fur coats to keep up with the
demands for the Eskimo dolls
which are produced in these shops
by the physically disabled.
If you can help out, please
send these coats to the Rehab-
ilitation Foundation for the Dis-
abled, 12 Overlea Boulevard,
Toronto 17.
The dolls are one of the pro-
ducts made under the Founda-
tion's sheltered workshop pro-
gram. This provides employment
for physically disabled citizens
of Ontario who cannot compete
in regular industry, Most im-
portantly, it keeps them off total
welfare.
The Eskimo dolls are sold
through regular retail stores,
