The Lucan TOPS Club met

disappointment, for the scales
showed no great loss of weight.
The leader, Mrs. Eldon Hopps
was in the chair. It was decided
that on December 7 the Lucan
Club would visit one of the TOPS
Clubs in London.

James Church Clandeboye was
particularly beautiful.
Mr. Hodgins spoke on the sale
of the book — to former Biddulph
residents, as far away as Van-

as many as 10 copies to send as
Christmas presents to their
friends.

For a number of years the
Lucan Public School has had a
flourishing Home and School As-
sociation, but since the Lucan
School was made a Jr. School
last September, no meetings have
been held.
At a recent executive meeting,
it was decided to send out a
questionnaire to the parents of
both Lucan and Biddulph Schools
to ascertain the possibility of
holding joint meetings. The mem-
bers of the executive were most
encouraged to learn 75% of the
parents were in favor of joint
meetings so the first meeting
will be held in the Biddulph

30, at 8;15 pm.
