Sharks rebound,
back in first
Who's on first, what's on sec-
ond? This old baseball comedy
term could certainly be applied
to the top two teams in the Ex-
eter Legion mixed dart league.
The Dart Sharks and Hairpins
have been taking regular turns
at holding first place, but only
for a week at a time,
In Friday's regular play, the
Dart Sharks edged the Generals
3-2 while the Hairpins were on
the short end of a 4-1 count to
the Cleaners. This two point
spread allowed the Sharks to slide
back into the lead 31-30.
The Itchy Four continued their
steady march with another four
point night and are only two
points back of the leaders with 29.
Marg Wragg achieved a new
season's high for women's single
game scores with a neat 138
effort.
One of the top stars of the
Sharpshooters, Olive Ferguson,
is on the move after winning
two games Friday night. This
brings her grand season total to
two.
Friday's scores were:
Itchy Four 4 --Shiphunters 1
Cleaners 4 —Hairpins 1
Sharpshooters 4 -- Bluebirds 1
Canners 3 — Featherflights 2
Legionnaires 3 — Four B's 2
Dart Sharks 3 -- Generals 2
