Girls' dresses
A spirit of fun and frivolity
pervaded the United Church
schoolroom last Tuesday even-
ing, when a dress-up initiation
was held for the 13 new mem-

at the next meeting.
The second and third year
girls each adopted a newcomer
and instructed her how to dress.
As there were so many good
costumes, five winners had to
be chosen by the clap of hands.
The winners were Julie Hender-
son, Brenda Herbert, Mia
Steeghs, Susan Crozier and Bon-
nie Brooks.
As only 10 boxes of Cystic

sold the girls were asked to
push this service project.
The three study books were
given out to be rotated to the
list assigned, with no girl to
hold a book more than one week.
