Recent showers have delayed the bean harvest in this district. Drought earlier in the growing season has reduced yields of some fields considerably. Pitts Construction have reach- ed their destination in installing pipe on the farm of Mr. Kelly Robinson Saturday, but have less than three miles to go north west of Arva before completing the installation of Lake Huron pipe- line. A contract of lowering the roof on the store at West McGillivray to make a one storey living quarters was completed Friday by Mr. Albert Steeper with local help assisting.
