ed their destination in installing
pipe on the farm of Mr. Kelly
Robinson Saturday, but have less
than three miles to go north west
of Arva before completing the
installation of Lake Huron pipe-
line.

The General meeting of the
Grand Bend UCW was held Tues-
day evening with a good attend-
ance.
Mrs. Wm. Brenner conducted
the opening worship using sever-
al of the parables. She was as-
sisted by Mrs. Allan Parker and
Mrs. Murray Venner. Dr. Judith
Brigham and Mrs. Clarke Ken-
nedy sang a duet.
Mrs. Wm. Blewett gave a re-
port on School for Leaders at
Alma College and introdUced sev-
eral books. Mrs. Emery DesJar-
dins will introduce the new study
book at the October afternoon
meeting,
Mrs. W. Gill presided for the
busineSs. At the next General
meeting which will be NOV. 15
all reports and a slate of offic-
ers for 1961 will be brought in.
An Invitation was received to
attend the bazaar and tea at
Grace Church GreenWay) Oc-
tober 12 at 9 pm.
The bazaar which will be held
Nov, 19 at 2:30 pm was discuss-
ed. Mrs. E. DesJardins is the
over all convener. The ladies
voted to send twelve blankets
