Close out charity funds
Earlier this year the personnel of CFB Centralia formed an organization for the systematic giving to
charitable agencies. With just six month of giving the RCAF Centralia Combined Charities closed their
books and distributed their monies to the agencies they wished to support. Among those receiving over
$200.00 were the Huron county Children's Aid Society, Salvation Army, Muscular Dystrophy, and CNIB.
Seven other agencies received $100.00 each. Mies C. McGowan, Director of the Huron County Children's
Aid Society, Goderich, accepts a cheque from F/L M. E. Pett, chairman of the combined charities com-
mittee. Mrs. E. Ross, standing, convener Of the Society's emergency fund, will receive the direct benefit
of the gift. --CFB photo
