OF
OUTSTANDING
SUCCESS
The Northlander is proof enough that even today a business that
strives for quality and dependability can succeed and grow to an
extent that is spectacular.
When Custom Trailers Limited, Exeter Ontario, started its
operations August 24, 1964 there were IS men who undertook to
build a mobile home that would provide all usual home comforts.
The company in turn undertook to assure the best quality at
prices that are well within reach of everybody considering a home
of their own. In fact, the price is considerably lower than those paid
for standard units.
Today the company employs 28 men and the number is growing.
Sales figures have doubled from those of last year and as each sold
unit is its own best advertiser, sales prospects are excellent. By
the end of November the company will have over 300 homes produced
and sold all across Canada.
To satisfy the demand the manufacturers have added a new
60 x135 extension to the original 60 x 204 plant facilities.
Thus on its second anniversary the company can proudly claim
doubled number of employees, doubled manufacturing space and
what is most rewarding a doubled amount of orders.
THE
NORTH ANDER
Behind the success of the Northlander lie scrupulously en-
forced quality standards. Materials used in the construction of these
units are delivered according to specifications and these are jealously
watched. Suppliers have learned to respect these quality require-
ments.
Attention to detail is law in the factory. Attention to the con-
struction codes for the industry in wiring, heating, insulation and
plumbing, plus the necessary strength in framework Is a continued
standard practice of Custom Trailers Limited.
Exclusive features of the I",orthlander are: Cathedral roof,
vinyl ceiling, 3" therm° wall construction, plywood under metal,
gun-type furnace, larger windows.
