Pack parachutes
Many area youngsters had "fond dreams" Sunday when they were undoubtedly thinking of themselves
jumping out of airplanes and gliding to the earth under the silks of a parachute. The sky divers per-
forming at the annual fly-in at Sexsmith Airport had many youthful watchers as they packed their gear
prior to their descent to some 7,500 feet. --T-A photo

Double staff, capacity, production in only two years
13 men were on location to erect
the 60' by 204' building and they
completed the building and had
their first unit off the line on
November 2.
Since then, some 280 homes
have been completed and by that
November 2 anniversary, over
300 homes will have been pro-
duced by the staff.
The units have varied con-
siderably, from the standard
housing unit to industrial and
public facilities, including a 30'
by 50' church.
However, the unit that pushed
Custom Trailers Limited to its
outstanding record of success
has been the Northlander.
With its unique cathedral roof-
line, the Northlander has been
Shipped coast to coast and Pre-
sident Bill Smith reports it has
received wide acclaim from buy-
ers and dealers alike.
The Northlander is a "middle
class home" but the quality which
goes into it, sets it apart from
many of its competitors.
This quality has made it a
favorite with second time trailer
buyers, Smith reports, explain-
ing that the first-time buyer
more often makes his decision
on price.
However, once he finds trailer
living to his satisfaction, he
starts looking around for units
which stress quality when he
decides to buy again.
With the number of trailer
buyers growing by leaps and
bounds, this gives Custom Trail-
ers an optimistic outlook for the
future.
As Bill Smith explains it: "The
more we sell, the more potential
sales we have because our repu-
tation continues to grow".
This week marks the second
anniversary of Custoin Trailers
Limited, and the local firm con-
tinues to progress beyond the
expectations under which it was
inaugurated.
In the past two years, the firm
has more than doubled its staff
and sales figures and an addition
last spring almost doubled its
size.

ACROSS CANADA
Custom Trailers Limited has
between 30 to 40 outlets from
coast to coast in Canada and the
quality that goes into the local
units makes them a favorite with
them as they don't have any
problems in satisfying custo-
mers.
Many of these dealers not only
sell trailers, but they run trailer
parks and have the added advan-
tage of having units on hand to
show prospective buyers,
What's the future holdfor Cus-
tom Trailers? Well, noting the
increased demand for trailers
and the acceptance of the unit his
firm is building, Bill Smith says
"there's nothing but good to look
forward to".
Custom Trailers Limited mark second anniversary on optimistic report
and by this November, over 300 units will have been produced and sent coast to coast.
The success of the firm has been built on a quality product that is aimed at the second-
time buyer.
Just two years ago, 13 men set their hammers and saws ringing to erect the building
housing Custom Trailers Limited. Since then, the staff at the local plant has more than
doubled, production and sales have doubled their original expectations, and the building
has almost doubled in size. The first trailer came off the lines in November 1964,
