ed away July 25 at Westminster
Hospital in London where he was
a patient for thirty years, a Vet-
eran of World War I. lie was a

Operations
The operations for the year resulted in a deficit of $129.01, compared with

1. There was no differential between the Farm and Residential, and Com-
mercial rates as required by the Residential and Farm School Tax Assistance
Grants Act, for ratepayers of the Exeter Separate School,
2. There is no authority for the Municipality to carry a surplus and It is
suggested that a Reserve for Working Funds be set up as permitted by the
Ontario Municipal Act, Section 297 and the Regulations of the Department of
Municipal Affairs.
3. Municipal Drain balances have not been billed in accordance with Section
83 of the Municipal Drainage Act.
4. it is suggested that the accumulated deferred revenue, as shown on
schedules 8 and 9, be taken into consideration to reduce the levies for county
and school purposes.
