DERBYSHIRE— GALLUT Mr. Lorne Derbyshire of RR 1 Clandeboye and Mrs. Lena May Gallut, Napanee, were married at Lucan United Church manse with Rev. G. W. Sach officiating on Saturday, July 2. Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Williams entertained the family in their honor following the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Derbyshire will reside in the village. The WA and Guild of St. James Church held their June meeting at the church Thursday. Presi- dent Mrs. Andy Carter presided. It was decided to have no meet- ings till last of September. President Mrs. Robert Latta conducted the Guild meeting. A discussion was held on some improvements at the church. PERSONALS Mr. & Mrs. Bill Walden of Chatham attended the reunion Saturday at Rosebank School near New Hamburg. Mrs. Walden (former Miss Mary Carter) was a teacher there in 1946. The school built in 1851, Is to be closed due to the Central School.
