IN MEMORIAM —
JONES—In loving memory of a
dear husband and father Ray
Jones who passed away one
year ago July 5, 1965.
Little did we think when we woke
that morning,
The sorrow the day would bring;
The call was sudden, the shock
severe
To part with one we loved so dear;
We mourn for you in silence
Our sad and bitter loss;
But God alone has helped so well
To bear our heavy cross.
—Sadly missed by his wife and
sons Gordon and Donald. 30*
KING-- In loving memory of a
wonderful mother and grand-
mother, Elizabeth King who
passed away July 14, 1962 on
her 91st birthday.
A cherished heart of gold,
The dearest mother the world
could hold;
Happy memory fond and true
From those who thought the world
of you.
— Sadly missed but always re-
membered by her children and
grandchildren. 30c
MAIER—In loving memory of my
dear father, Carl E. Maier who
God called home two years ago
July 5, 1964.
Today recalls sad memories,
Of a father gone to rest;
And the one who thinks of him
today
Is the one who loved him best;
And in my heart, your memories
Will stay so dear to me,
—Always loved, remembered and
sadly missed by daughter
Sheila, son-in-law Eddy and
granddaughter, Susan. 30c
MAIER— In loving memory of a
dear son and brother, Carl
Maier who passed away July
5, 1964.

As years roll on and days pass
by;
In our hearts a memory is kept
Of the one we loved and will
never forget.
— Always remembered by moth-
er, sisters and brothers. 30c
STANLAKE — In loving memory
of a dear sister, Agnes Ellen
Stanlake who passed away July
3, 1960.
Her memory is a keepsake
With which we will never part;
Though God has her in His keep-
ing
We still have her in our hearts.
— Always remembered by broth-
ers and sisters. 30c
STANLAKE — In loving memory
of a dear husband, father and
grandfather Ted Stanlake, who
passed away one year ago June
28, 1965.
Many a lonely heartache, often
a silent tear

of one whom we loved so dear;
Just as you were, you will always
be
Treasured forever in our mem-
ory.

Betty, son Bruce, daughter-
in-law Ruby and grandchildren.

WINEGARDEN— In loving mem-
ory of our darling daughter,
Janice Lynn, who passed away
July 4, 1964 in her third year.
It's a lonely life without you,
And sad has been the Way;
For life at home is not the same
Since you were called away;
It was a sudden ending,
Too sudden to forget
Because Dad, Mom and Jackie,
who loved you
Are the ones who never forget.
We miss you little Jan
And thank the Lord above
For the happy years, that we
had you here to love.
— Sadly missed, and never to be
forgotten, Daddy, Mommy and
Jacqueline. 30*
WINEGARDEN —In loving mem-
ory of a dear granddaughter and
niece, Janice Lynn who passed
away July 4, 1964.
God gave us a wonderful Janice,
Her memory will never grow old;
He fashioned her smile out of
sunshine
He moulded her heart of pure
gold;
He needed a new star in heaven
A beautiful light to shine,
So out of this old world of sorrow
He chose it to be her time,
— Cherished forever byGramma

Things got a little bit hot the
past week so we opened our
swimming pool rather suddenly
Sunday June 26 instead of wait-
ing until June 29 as originally
planned. Judging by the big turn
out we did the wise thing.
Our two girls are home from
camp Kee-Mo-Kee and are ready
to start their duties as playground
supervisors July 5. That's this
coming Tuesday, times are from
10 to 12 pm and from 2 to 4 pm
Monday through Friday. Anyone
interested in this program bring
your children to the community
centre.
In Ball last week the Pee Wees
lost twice to St. Marys 20-6 and
21-14 which I believe was pretty
good considering that we had only
two pee wee players and the rest
were beginners. The bantams
played at Exeter June 23 and were
beaten 19-2.
We start our swimming pool
registration this Thursday that
is today at 1 pm. We have red
cross qualified instructors again
this year and are iookingforward
to another good season.
Visits England
after 26 years
Following the death of her
husband, who was killed in ac-
tion in World War II, Mrs. Kay
Egan came to Lucan with her
two small sons, Frank and Pat,
March 27, 1945. It wasn't until
a month ago she returned to Eng-
land. She was accompanied by
her mother-in-law, Mrs. Dave
Egan (who spent the vacation with
her relatives).
Mrs. Egan made her head-
quarters, with her brother and
sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Reginald Akehurst and visited her
father and sister, Mrs. Mary
Carey and other relatives.
Her god-child and niece Miss
Marilyn Elizabeth Carey changed
the date of her wedding to June
11 so her aunt could be present.
Mrs. Egan also visited her
husband's grave in Holland.
PENTECOSTAL HOLINESS
Rev. James Chartwood was
in charge of both Sunday services.
The pastor, the Rev. John Sexton
is expected back to take charge
of next Sunday's services.
