Mrs. Jack Lankin accepted the position of social convener and Mrs. John Park and Mrs. Frank Jolliffe were named the branch's cancer representatives. It was voted not to be responsible, this year, for the CNIB collection in the village. There was some discussion as to where to hold future meet- ings. The final decision was in favour of the community centre. As there have been many chan- ges in the enrollment list, it was decided to change some of the "phoners" and to give each a new list of names. Mrs. Stew- art Park consented to remain convener. The callers will be Mrs. Frank Hardy, Mrs. Ira Carling, Mrs. John Park and Miss Lina Abbott. No action was reported on the securing of new seats for the swimming pool. The meeting was turned over to Mrs. G.E. Nicholson, who gave an interesting demonstra- tion on floral arrangements, after passing around several magazine pictures of various types of de- coration. Tickets were sold on the three floral arrangements made by Mrs. Nicholson. The lucky winners were Mrs. Harvey Latta, Mrs. Cecil Robb, and Mrs. Sheridan Revington.
