MR, AND MRS. DAVID ANGUS SIM
Times-Advocate, June 23, 1966
Gertrude Ann Dick, daughter
of Mrs. Arthur W. Dick and the
late Mr. Dick, exchanged wedding
vows with Ernest Allen Morenz,
of Dashwood, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Roy Morenz, in First Pres-
byterian Church, Seaforth, June
11 at 4:00 pm.
Rev. D. 0. Fry performed the
double-ring ceremony before a
setting of white pompom mums
tied with ribbons of white, blue
and pink and two candelabra.
Soloist was Mrs. Ken Keller,
Dashwood who sang the Lord's
Prayer and 0 Perfect Love ac-
companied by Mrs. Don Carter,
Seaforth.
The bride chose a floor-length
gown of ice crepe. The empire
bodice was fashioned with a high
scoop neckline and was covered
in Chantilly lace. From the cord-
ed empire line fell a slim skirt
of crepe. The gown was high-
lighted by a scalloped coat of
matching lace. It was styled with
scalloped trumpet sleeves, frost-
ed with tiny bows, and open
scalloped lace front. A headdress
of imitation rosebuds with pearls
held her pure silk illusion, three-
tiered veil. She carried a cres-
cent bouquet of pink Delight roses
with trailing ivy and stephanotis.
The bride was given away by her
brother, James Dick.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Ray-
mond Crayne, sister of the bride,
Stratford. Miss Margaret Elliott,
Seaforth and Miss June Morenz,
sister of the groom, Dashwood
were the bridesmaids.
They wore identical floo r-
length, empire-style, gowns of
rosebud pink Chiare crepe, fash-
ioned with A-line skirts and scoop
necklines. The lace top w a s
caught at the waist with tiny
wisterial pink roses with three-
tiered veil. They carried crescent
bouquets of white starburst poms
with blue tulle and stephanotis.
The flower girls were Camilla
Cornell, London and Brenda Bur-
ford, Toronto, nieces of the bride.
They wore identical floor-length
dresses of azure blue chiare
crepe, similar to the bride s-
maids. They had matching head-
dresses of roses and carried
nosegays of white starburst poms
with pink rose in centre. The ring
bearer Billy Wright, nephew of
the bride, Brampton carried the
rings on a heart-shaped white
satin pillow.
Groomsman was Harvey
Adams, Dashwood, and the guests
were ushered by Bill Morenz,
Dashwood and Andy Anderson,
CFB Station, Centralia.

If you think you don't need
disability insurance, you
haven't seen the statistics.
Of 1000 persons aged 35, 33% will be disabled by
illness or injury --for three months or more—before
they reach age 65. That's what the statistics show.
What kind of statistic will you be?
It makes sense to look into a Manufacturers Life
Personal Income Protector Plan, Nothing can give
you such peace of mind as the sure knowledge that
if you are disabled and cannot work, a guaranteed
income will come your way.
Our Plan has many advantages. It offers you a
wide flexibility in amount of income and the length
of time it will be paid. You can co-ordinate the plan
with your other resources; tailor it to your needs and
your pocketbook. Manufacturers Life cannot cancel
the policy nor can your premium rate be raised—ever.
The plan can be adjusted to correct the inadequacy
of any short-term coverage you already have.
If you are interested, call the Man from Manufacturers. When advising you on
disability income he offers you the same competent counsel available to you when
you are planning your life insurance security.

Grade 13 SHDHS student, who

Huron County at Clinton Fair,

Let us remind you again that
June is Dairy Month and one of
the very important dairy foods
is cheese. Canada's Food Rules
recommend that cheese be used
at least three times a week.
Like milk, it is an almost per-
fect food.
At the meeting of Elimville
WI last Wednesday evening Mrs.
James Miller and Mrs, Ross
Skinner demonstrated making
dishes using cheese. Here are
some recipes that Mrs. Miller
used;
LEMON CHEESE CAKE
2 1/2 cups graham wafers, rolled
fine
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup white sugar
Mix thoroughly; press firmly
into a 9x9-inch pan. Save 1/2
cup to sprinkle on the top.
1 pkg lemon jello
1 cup boiling water
8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
2/3 cup white sugar
3 tbl lemon juice
Blend cheese, sugar, 1 tsp.
vanilla and large can condensed
milk. Cool condensed milk in
freezer before whipping. Whip
until thick. Add cream cheese
mix to whipped milk and then
add whipped jello and lemon juice.
Pour into pan lined with crack-
er crumbs and top with remain-
ing crumbs. Let set several hours
in the refrigerator.
