Meet Lisa Hyde
Lisa Hyde of Hensall symbolizes many other children in Western Ontario. Lisa is the victim of Cystic
Fibrosis and has been chosen to represent Western Ontario in the publicity campaign designed to
gather funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation in Western Ontario. Lisa is this little girl's
actual name but the name Lisa means much more than this. Throughout the United States the name
Lisa is the equivalent of the name ',Timmy" used extensively in other fund raising campaigns for an-
other disease. This is the first time Canadians have used the child symbol for this campaign. Lisa's
mother, Mrs. Jim Hyde is president of the London Cystic Fibrosis Chapter.
