Mrs., Cecil Rowe received word of the death of Mrs. James West of Kemble who was 102 years of age. She was a relative of the Moon family and attended the moon family reunion in Exeter two years ago, Mrs. Pete Warkenten, Ottawa, spent a few days with Mr, and Mrs. Sam Jory, Simcoe St. Mr. Warkenten has just completed a course at CFB, Centralia. Mr. and Mrs, Warkenten returned to their Ottawa home Wednes- day. Mr, & Mrs. Wes Witmer visit- ed Sunday with Mr. & Mrs. Leo Witmer and family, Woodstock. committee, numbering about 40, motored to Exeter Monday even- ing and paid a fraternal visit to Lebanon Forest Lodge. The visitors were introduced to the lodge by V.W. Bro. Ken Hod- gins. Officers of the local lodge vacated their chairs for W. B. Gordon MacLeod and his officers. Mr. MacLeod called on Bro. Don Cookson and his educational committee, who gave an interest- ing monologue on the past, pre- sent and future of Masonry. W. Bro. 11, Cowen thanked the visit- ors. Bro. W, J. Routledge, chairman of the London area of the Red Cross blood donors clinic, de- scribed the work and appealed to as many as could to donate their blood at the next clinic in Exeter on June 13. Bro. B. W. Tuckey, who helped organize the first blood donors clinic in Ex- eter, thanked the speaker. Other speakers were H. Tren- eer, of Kingston, RW Bro. Ross Fuller, RW Bro. Shortreed, W. Bro. Jim Young, of Lucan. W. Master Ray Laramie was presented with a Kilwinning plaid tie as appreciation of the visiting lodge. Mr. & Mrs. Harold Bell visited with Mrs. Thos. Bell at Huron- view Clinton Sunday. Mr. & Mrs. Chas. Cassar and Terri of London, Mr, & Mrs. Edward Johns and Karen, Mrs, Verna Johns of St. Thomas with Mr, & Mrs. Gilbert Johns. Mr. & Mrs. Wm. Routly visited with Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Rannie and family of London Thursday. Mr. & Mrs, Allen Johns and Marilyn, Mr. & Mrs. Philip Johns and Margaret attended the annual church service at St. Paul's Cath- edral for the graduating class at Teachers College and also toured the college. Mr. & Mrs. Philip Johns and Margaret attended the graduates dinner at the college Sunday evening. Mr. Wm, Routly is attending School for Road Superintendents at the OAC in Guelph. Day At Main Street United Church Sunday morning the sermon took the form of a dialogue on "When is a Christian Family" with Mr. J. G. Burrows assisting the min- ister Rev, R. S. Hiltz.
