Since we announced our prize draw for new subscribers somebody raised
the question — and a good one at that — why should we exclude our old
friends — subscribers who have been members of the T-A family for years.
Well, they are no longer excluded. We have added another prize draw for
renewals.
All renewals will be assigned a special coupon that will be entered in the
draw.
The coupon clipped from this page is eligible as well.
The draw in the Renewals class will be held May, 21. The prize is $50.00.
Draw tickets (for new subscribers and renewals) will be awarded to all
who acted after April 7, when the price increase for T-A was first announc-
ed. The tickets will be made out in our office from records in our subscrip-
tion department.
It has also been decided that one ticket should be awarded for each year
a subscription is being paid for. Thus by, paying for two years a subscriber
not only saves more, he also increases his chances of winning the prizes.
(The additional ticket to those who have already taken out their subscrip-
tions will be entered automatically).
FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE
The Times-Advocate office will be open Saturday
afternoons to 5:00 P.M. up to and including May 21,
to accommodate all these who wish to take out their
subscriptions in person.
We certainly were glad to see such a stream of visi-
tors last Saturday afternoon when the office was
held open without a previous announcement.

The subscription rate goes up to $5.00 after May 21, but if you send in your sub-
scription now, you can still get the Times-Advocate for the old rate — $4.00 a year
for up to two years. May 21 is the last date to take advantage of this offer.
