rated the altar for the ceremony.
Given in marriage by Thomas
Triebner, the bride's costume
was two-piece. The dress of
peau de sole was sleeveless and
styled on empire lines. Both coat
and dress had scoop necklines
and the coat had three-quarter
length sleeves and the back ex-
tended to a train. A beaded head-
piece held her bouffant, shoulder-
length veil and she carried a
cascade of yellow roses,
Miss Jean Doupe, London, was
maid of honor gowned in yellow
peau de sole in floor-length with
empress waistline. She carried
a cascade of mauve miniature
carnations. Bridesmaids were
Mrs. Sharon Flood, Toronto,
sister of the bride, and Miss
Margaret Ann Prance, sister of
the groom. They were gowned
Roy Rader, RR 3 Dashwood,
was best man for his brother,
The wedding reception was held
at the Dufferin Hotel, Centralia,
where the bride's mother re-
ceived guests in a mint green
three-piece suit with white ac-
cessories and corsage of yellow
and white mums. The groom's
mother assisted in a pink lace
ensemble with white accessories
and corsage of pink carnations.
In the evening a reception and
dance was held at Dashwood Com-
munity Centre.
For travelling in Eastern On-
tario the bride changed to a pale
pink dress and coat ensemble
with black and white accessories
and white carnation corsage.
The couple will reside on the
groom's farm, RR 2 Crediton.
White daisies and white mums
formed the setting in Zion
Lutheran Church, Dashwood, for
the ceremony uniting in marriage
Roberta Faye Becker, daughter of

RR 3 Dashwood, and Keith David
Rader, son of Mr and Mrs Alvin
Rader, RR 3 Zurich, on Saturday,
April 30 at 3,30 pm,
Rev. William Gatz officiated
and Miss Helen Nadiger, Dash-
wood, furnished the wedding
music.
Given in marriage by her father
the bride wore a floor-length
gown of rayon taffeta trimmed
with lace appliques on bodice
and skirt. A satin wedding ring
headpiece touched with matching
lace held her bouffant veil. She
carried a crescent bouquet of
pink Delight roses and white
daisies.
Mrs. Sylvia Flynn, London, was
matron of honor for her sister
wearing a sleeveless street-
length dress in empire style with
deep pink velvet top and white
skirt. Her bouquet of white
daisies with deep pink ribbon was
in a crescent shape.
BRIDE FETED
Prior to her wedding the bride
was honored at four showers for
which hostesses were Mrs Law-
rence Becker, Crediton; Mrs
Lloyd Guenther, Dashwood; Mrs
William Mohns, London, and the
girls of the Bell Telephone where
the bride is employed.

Training school but to complete
the application form in favor of
a forum for ,,Never a Dull
Moment" with “Color and Your
Home" being second choice. It
was voted to apply for the short
course on ""Quilts" for next year.

delegate to the District Annual
at Sylvan May 10 Special Purchase C.G.E.

A reception and dinner was
held at the residence of Mr and
Mrs Gordon Prance. Later in the
evening a reception and dance was
held in the Zurich arena with
music supplied by Mittleholtz
orchestra.
For a honeymoon to be spent
in New York the bride travelled
in a white double-knit three-piece
suit with red accessories.
The couple will reside at RR
1, Woodham.

hear reports
The April meeting of the Ex-
eter Pentecostal WMC ladies was
held at the home of Mrs, Keith
McLaren, Cromarty, who gave a
resume of the WMC convention
held in Sault Ste Marie.
Mrs. Milford Prouty gave the
message of the afternoon, her
theme being “The Power of the
CrTories. "
hymns were led by Mrs.
Elmer Desjardine, who presided
for the meeting, which concluded
with a session of prayer follow-
ed by lunch.

Twelve members of the Wom-
en's Hospital Auxiliary attended
the spring conference of District
No. 2 at Seaforth Monday, Mrs.
Oliver Bell, St. Marys, chaired
the morning and afternoon ses-
sions.
A tour of the new Seaforth
Hospital was conducted after the
afternoon session and a cup of
tea was served in the hospital.

At a reception held in Londes,
bozo United Church parlors, the
bride's mother received the
guests, wearing a dress of beige
brocade with matching three-
quarter length coat, a turban of
mesa green tulle, and corsage of
talisman roses. She was assisted
by the mother of the groom who
had chosen a pink double-knit en-
semble with petal hat of matching
pink tulle and a corsage of white
roses.
For a wedding trip to the
central United States, the bride
donned a navy and white lace
dress with matching jacket, navy
and white accessories and a cor-
sage of pink carnations" On their
return they will reside in Clinton.
