Attend Ottawa Convention Club Leaders in Huron County.
As a matter of interest, 22 of
the Huron County Leaders are
graduates of a two or four year
course in agriculture. These
dedicated men enrich the lives of
our boys and girls by the guidance
and advice they provide during
the year.
The Canada-U.S, boundary, 3,-

fixed from the Atlantic to the Lake
of the Woods by the Treaty of
Paris, 1783.

er Rapids in the Ottawa Valley
to attend the annual WSWS Con-
vention April 26.28, The mis-
sionary speaker was Mrs. Don-
aid Pletsch, Guelph, agriculture
missionary home on furlough
from Sierra Leone, Africa,
At the conclusion of the con-
vention they travelled to Walt-
ham, Que, and visited Mrs. Jam-
es' mother. They attended Par-
liament Session after which they
were dinner guests inthe Parlia-
ment buildings with Mr. and Mrs.
Robert McKinley, Huron M.P.
While in Ottawa they visited
Mrs. Homer James and family,
Mr. and Mrs. Orville James,
and Dr. and Mrs. Robert Boyle.
Enroute home they attended
Sunday service at Vimy Barracks
Officers' Chapel in Kingston and
were guests with Major and Mrs.
Gregory Dorion. Mrs. Ken Mc-
Crae visited with Mr. and Mrs.
Sproule Currie in Trenton.
Mr. & Mrs. herd Miller ac-
companied by Mr. & Mrs. Robert
Annan and family of Pickering
spent Sunday with Mr. & Mrs.
Harry 13assow, Mrs. Marie Pask
and Mrs. Tillie Tetreau of Zur-
ich,
Weekend visitors with Mrs.
Lucinda McIsaac were Mr. &
Mrs, Percy Kleinstiver of Chic-
ago, Ili., and Miss Cheryl Ward
and friend of Windsor.
Mrs. Louis Wolfe of Clifford
Is visiting with her daughter and
family, Mr. & Mrs. Carl Gest-
reicher.
Mr. Valentine Becker has re-
turned home from St. Joseph's
hospital, London, and is pro-
gressing favorably.
Mr, Harry Hoffman and Mr.
Don Jolly of the South Huron
Gideon camp attended the Gideon
International at the Royal York
hotel, Toronto and saw the 5,000,-
000th scripture presentation.
Rev. Bruce Dunn of Grace Pres-
byterian church Peoria, Ill. was
guest speaker.
David Inglis, 21 of RR 1, Walk-
erton, has been appointed Exten-
sion Assistant for Huron County.
He is a graduate of Walkerton
District Secondary School and a
1966 graduate of the Ontario
Agricultural College Associate
Diploma Course in Agriculture
where he specialized in Animal
Husbandry.
David completed 8 4-H dairy
calf club projects in the Bruce
County 4-H program. He was an
active member of the Walker-
ton Junior Farmers and held a
number of executive positions
in both 4-H and Junior Farmers.
At 0.A.C., Dave was President
of his class executive in first
year and Vice-President in his
graduating year. He participated
in college intramural hockey,
football, soccer, and the animal
husbandry club.
David Inglis will be working
with the 24 Huron 4-H Agri-
cultural Clubs which were or-
ganized during the Easter holi-
days. The 4-H clubs include 14
calf (dairy and beef projects),
1 breeding swine, 1 market hog,
1 sheep, 1 tractor maintenance,
5 grain corn and 1 sweet corn
club. Of the approximately 400
projects, 220 are in 4-H calf
club work.

don spent the weekend with Mr.
& Mrs. Irvin Rader and family.

family were Sunday guests at
Waterloo with Mr. & Mrs. Gar-
net Weiberg and family.
Mr. Irvin Eckstein is a patient
in South Huron hospital, Exeter.
Mrs. Ernest Koehler and Peter
Martene spent last week at Lon-
don with Mrs. Verna Keyes.
