New Centennial coins
An art gallery of wild animals, birds and fish portrayed by Alex Colville, a Canadian artist of inter-
national reputation, has been chosen for the new designs that will appear on the special Centennial
coinage to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of Confederation. The Honourable Mitchell Sharp,
Minister of Finance, announced today that designs submitted by the Sackville, N.B., artist for the re-
verse sides of all six denominations of coins were selected by an 11-member board of judges in a com-
petition that was opened in 1964,

IN MEMORIAM—
KRAFT — In loving memory of
a dear nephew Robert Melvin,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor
Kraft, London, who passed
away one year ago May 2, 1965,
In tears we saw him sinking
We watched him fade away,
Our hearts were sadly broken
He fought so hard to stay.
God saw he was getting weary
And did what He thought best
He put His arms around him
And whispered "Come and rest".
The Golden Gates stood open
One year ago today
With goodbyes left unspoken
He gently slipped away.
When the ties of love are broken
And loved ones have to part;
It leaves a wound that never heals
And an ever aching heart.
Sometimes it's hard to under-
stand
Why these things have to be;
But in His wisdom God has plan-
ned
Beyond our power to see.
— Ever remembered by Sponsors
Melvin and Dorothy Restemay-
er. 28*
KRAFT — In loving memory of
our grandson, Robert Melvin
Kraft, who passed away one
year ago, May 2, 1965.
His weary hours and days of pain
His troubled nights are past;
And in our aching hearts we know
He has found sweet rest at last;
God took him home it was His
will
But in our hearts he liveth still.
--Ever remembered by his
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Louis Restemayer. 28c
WEBER — In loving memory of
a dear husband and father, Har-
old Edgar Weber, who passed
away three years ago, May 2,
1963.
The world changes year to year,
And friends from day to day;
But never will the one we loved
From memory pass away.
— Lovingly remembered by his
wife Edna and daughters Joan
and Donna. 28c
