Dust-Dust-Dust
Tile installation of sewers and
lack of rain are no doubt re-
sponsible for much of Lucan's
present excessive dust. House-
cleaning is almost futile and
window washing, purely a waste
of time and energy.
One businessman, whose keen
sense of humor couldn't be dim-
med even by clouds of dust, made
a number of signs which now
appear on doors of many places
of business, bringing a smile to
"choking" passersby.
Some of these signs read; (Ex-
cuse the dust not my fault",
"Dusty Eh! Look at the street!"
"Dust bowl! — no! — Lucan!".
Ontario's big game animals
include white-tailed deer, moose,
woodland caribou, wolves, black
bear and polar bear.
