WI EUCHRE Staffa WI held a successful progressive euchre party in Staffa hall Friday evening, Feb. 4. There were 13 tables in play. Prizes were awarded to high lady, Miss Olive Speare, Cro- marty; low lady, Mrs. George Vivian, Staffa; high gent, Jim Scott, Mitchell; low gent, Jack Hoggarth, Cromarty; travelling lone hands, Jim Scott, Mitchell; lucky chair, Mrs. Garnet Taylor, Staffa. Mrs. Gerald Agars' group was in charge of the evening. The next euchre party is to be held Friday evening March 4 with Mrs. Wilbur Glanville's group in charge. 4-H GIRLS MEET The second meeting of Staffa No 1 4-11 Homemaking Club "Ac- cent on Accessories" was held at the home of the leader Mrs. Robert Laing Wednesday, Feb- ruary 2. All members were pre- sent and answered the roll call with the basic colour they had chosen for their accessories to blend with. Mrs. Laing explain- ed to the girls the correct ac- cessories to wear with the many TEMPLEMAN different figure typee, also, the accessories suitable for wear- 'jog on different occasions. Mrs. Taylor gave notes on melting accessories. The next meeting will be held in one week's time at the lead- er's home. The Second meeting of the Staffa No 2 4-H Homemaking Club "Accent on Accessories" was held at the herne of Miss Carol Ann Dow Wednesday, Feb- ruary 2. Notes were taken on how girls should dress accord- ing to their figure and size. The assistant leader, Mrs. Douglas gave the girls practice in classing costumes.
