The WSWS members of the
Evangelical UB church enter-
tained their husbands at their
annual Christmas dinner Nov. 26.
Following the dinner, Mrs. H.
J. Kellerman was chairlady for
the program which included a
sing song of Christmas carols
led by Mrs. J. M. Tieman, con-
vener of the program committee,
"The Christmas Story" by Mrs.
Louis Weigand; a male quartette
Hold service for
Mrs. John Brown
by Messrs Jack Gaiser, T. H.
Hoffman, J. M. Tieman and Stu-
art Wolfe; a ladies trio by Mrs.
Jack Gaiser, Mrs. Ross Guenth-
er and Mrs. Ken McCrae; and a
Christmas poem by Mrs. Hugh
Boyle.
Mr. Gordon Kraft showed
slides and gave an interesting
description of his trip to Europe
this past summer. He was thank-
ed by Mrs. Jack Gaiser, Mrs.
Charles Snell's group was in
charge of the dinner.

Miss Beatrice Graybiel is a
patient in South Huron Hospital,
Exeter.
Mr. Wm. Ziler and Mr. Amiel
Fisher, who spent several weeks
in South Huron Hospital, have
returned home.
Arthur Rader of the Lutheran
College at St. Louis, Missouri,
spent the American Thanksgiv-
ing with his parents, Mr. &
Mrs. Elgin Rader.
Mrs. Irvin Rader, Paul and
Sharon spent the weekend in Lon-
don with Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Howe
and girls.
Mr. & Mrs. Wendell Gamble
and family of London spent the
weekend with Mr. & Mrs. Elmer
Rader and family.

Mrs. Mary Ann Brown, the
former Mary Ann Oestreicher,
and widow of the late John Brown
of Zurich, passed away in the
Exeter Nursing Home, Monday,
November 29.
Surviving is one daughter, Ruth
(Mrs. Howard Hostetler) of Lon-
don; two sons, Fred of Crediton,
Bill of Zurich; three sisters,
Miss Clara Oestreicher of Tor-
onto, Miss Matilda Oestreicher
and Eva (Mrs. N. E. French) both
of Windsor; one brother, William
of Crediton also eleven grand-
children.
The body rested at the T.
Harry Hoffman funeral home,
Dash'wood until Wednesday noon
then at the Zurich EUB church
where the service was held with
Rev. M. Shatto officiating and
interment was made in the Dash-
wood EUB cemetery.
Pallbearers wer e Carl Oes-
treicher, Bill Clement, Robert
Abell, Robert Greenwood, Robert
and John Brown.
