(Intended for last week) BRIDE-ELECT HONORED Miss Marjorie Donaldson, bride-elect of Saturday, has been honored on several occasions prior to her marriage. Employees of the Bell Tele-, phone presented her with a mis- cellaneous shower at the home of Mrs. Bill Bright, Elmwood Ave., London. The ladles of the community met in the United Church and the bride-elect was presented with a platform rocker and hamper as well as other gifts. Mrs. Donald Black and Mrs. Sam Tay- lor made the presentations. A. short program included com- munity singing with Mrs. J. Cromarty AID UNICEF The pupils of SS 5 Hibbert entertained parents and friends at a euchre and crokinole party last Friday night. High prizes were won by Harry Norris, Mrs. H. Norris, Ted Kernick, and Brenda Gardiner; consolation, Alfred Chappel and Bob Johns. The collection amounted to $10.75 and was sent to UNICEF. Ouild plan family supper By MRS. Living Message orders were taken. Mrs. William Schaefer presid- ed for the Guild meeting. Plans were made to purchase new table- cloths and a family supper plan- ned for December. WI EUCHRE Kirkton WI held a progressive euchre in Aberdeen Hall Monday evening.
