13 Lucan on Saturday afternoon. The
8 pee wee club has managed one
tie in its first three games.
The juveniles were never ahead
in the Byron contest as the win-
ners led 2-1 at the end of the
first period, 3-1 at the end of
the second and 5-3 at the final
whistle. The locals who had a
couple of junior players in the
Exeter goal to cut the Byron
lead to 2-1 in the first frame
while Scott Burton and Bryan
Baynham added the other two
Exeter tallies.
John Pryde played in the Ex-
eter goal and was charged with
all five goals although he was
left unprotected in many cases.
The locals will play a return
game with Byron next Tuesday
night in the Exeter Arena.
The Lucan Squirts jumped off
to a 3-0 lead in the Saturday
contest and then coasted the rest
of the way to defeat Exeter by
a 4-1 score.
Perry Stover's second period
goal was the locals only score
of the day and cut the Lucan
lead to 3-1 in the second period.
John Courtney assisted on the
play.
Next Saturday the squirts who
are still seeking their first win
will meet Lambeth in Lucan.
the ladies division.
A couple of high scores were
turned in on Friday night with
Eric Heywood throwing the years
high total of 174 and Anne Ro-
maniuk tossing 140.
CORPORALS STILL LEAD
The Corporal A dart squad
remained in front of the RCAF
Centralia Inter-Mess Dart Lea-
gue when they clobbered the Air-
men A club '7-3 on Wednesday
night to stay two points ahead
of the Exeter Legion who man-
aged a 5-5 tie with the last
place Airmen B team. The Cor-
porals have a total of 37 points
to the Legion's 35.
In the third game of the eve-
ning the fourth place Corporal
B squad who have 26 points
whipped the third place Ser-
geants 6-4.
Joe Berthelet still leads the
league in games won for the
season with 12 while the Legion's
Norm Ferguson is next with 10.

ed with the election of officers.

SLUMBER GALS MEET
The sixth meeting of the Slum-
ber Gals of Elimville No. 3 was
held November 8 at the home of
Karen Rodd,
Notes were given by Mrs, Ron
Fletcher on facings, hems and
slip stitching. Sharon Fletcher
demonstrated slip stitching, The
seventh meeting was held at the
home of Mrs. Bison Lynn Nev.

bara visited in London this past
week with Mr. & Mrs. Jack Ma-
har, Donny and. Darlene who are
leaving for Germany Tuesday to
stay for three years.

The Exeter Squirts and Juve-
niles who are still looking for
their first Sham rock , League
wins this season came out on the
short end of games with Lucan
and Byron last week. The Juve-
niles under coach Frank BOY1e
dropped their third straight game
to Byron on Tuesday night while
the Squirts who are directed by
Doug Harrison and Bev Skinner
were beaten 4-1 by Lucan in
6 lineup got off to a slow start
0 and were not able to recover
after Byron's early game rush.
Paul Mason scored the first
Competition in the Legion Mix-
ed Dart League is becoming very
close with only three points sep-
arating the first four teams. The
Sharpshooters made the biggest
gain last week as they whipped
the Legionnaires 4-1 to move into
a first place tie with the Plum-
bers who have 19 points after
their 3-2 win over the Feather
Flights on Friday night.
As a result of their loss to
the Sharpshooters, the Feather
Flights dropped into second place
with 17 points while the Blue
Birds defeated the Itchy Four by
a 4-1 score to move into fourth
place only three points behind
the leaders. The seventh place
Cleaners edged the eighth place
Champs 3-2 in the fourth game
of the evening.
In the individual standings
Keith Brintnell moved up to tie
Bill Smith for most games won
this season with 11 while Marg
Wragg and Anne Romaniuk re-
mained tied with five each in
GIVE VIEWS ON ELECTION
The Senior Citizens' club met
in Staffa Hall with the vice-
president Mr. Darrell Parker
presiding.
The roll call was answered
with views on election results.
Happy birthday was sung for Mrs.
Wilber Miller. A sing song was
enjoyed and Mrs. R. D. Sadler
favored with solos. Mrs. Cecil
Bowman contributed readings
in keeping with Remembrance
Day.
A few friendly games of euchre
were played and lunch was serv-
ed with Miss Olive Speare and
Mrs. Robert Dodds as conveners.
The next meeting will be held
December 14 with a pot luck
